This particular excerpt is a good showcase for the flavor of dialogue you’ll find in the Dark Choir series, particularly from Dorian Lake’s perspective. In this snippet, Dorian and his ex-lover Carmen have a back-and-forth that reveals a little of how Dorian came into his wealth, and how he and Carmen come from very different backgrounds.
